Dojo Tradition: Animal Influences of the Leopard
The leopard uses a different strike than its relative, the tiger (see the description of the tiger). The leopard fights using precise, targeted strikes aimed at the vital organs of its opponents.
In Kenpo, we have an assortment of leopard strikes. While they do not require strength to execute, they require precision and practice. Eye strikes, Eagle's Beak, attackes to the throat, and other soft-tissue strikes are examples of leopard attacks.
