Dojo Tradition: Animal Influences of the Dragon
A dragon is a master of all the other animal signs, and has some of most difficult characteristics to master.
The dragon adds the additional dimension of movement to a conflict or self-defense situation. A dragon moves in circles, and usually moves in circles within those circles. While the body is attacking in one place, for example, the head is attacking somewhere else. And, the movement of these circles are continuous, yet unpredictable.
Dragon moves are difficult. They require strength, agility, precision and timing to master. They are hard to defend against, and are offen both defensive and offensive simultaneously.
It is believed that the Tiger is the only animal that can defeat the dragon.
